How it works

  1. Sign up

    Register for the DB Employee Tariff (private use). A registration fee of €8.90 applies. Activation usually takes place within 2–3 working days.

  2. Validate your driving licence

    Validate your driving licence by uploading a photo of your driving licence and your ID card.

  3. €10 travel credit

    Once registration is complete, €10 travel credit will be automatically added to your account.

How do I identify myself as an employee?

During registration, you enter your personnel number and your Deutsche Bahn email address.

Can DB employees under the age of 21 use Flinkster?

The Flinkster car sharing service is available from a minimum age of 21. You must also hold a valid, permanent driving licence – the probationary period does not prevent registration.

I no longer work for DB. Can I still use this tariff?

No. The DB Employee Tariff is available exclusively to active employees of Deutsche Bahn. Unfortunately, this tariff does not apply to former employees or pensioners.
